All alone ...

Keith and girls packed up today for a trip to Grandma Anita's up in Kannapolis, NC. They took our friend Lindsey with them and Robin and Lindsey plan to stay on through the weekend. I think, at this time, the plans are for Keith and Cori to come back sometime Thursday or Friday.

The house is TOO quiet. The dogs are even napping rather than yapping and the cats have chosen this evening to be non-social. Bummer.

Robin called to "make sure I was o.k." I've been missing one of my kids for almost a month now, but David is due back this weekend, and now Cori, Robin and Keith are gone ... Barb has moved to Arizona with side trips to battlefields in Mississippi ... Carolyn has just returned to town ... Steve is caring for a cousin ... I swear, I bathed!

So, I went out and bought a trashy romance for the evening, some chocolate and some red wine. I think I'm set! Oh, yeah .. and some tanning stuff. I figure I can smell bad, drink some wine and not care! And chocolate cures all loneliness, so I've heard!

Now ... if I can just get all the danged critters off my bed ...
